GENERAL
Electricity at Mbalageti Serengeti.
Our source of power is Generators, turned on from 05:00 up until 08:00 then switched off. Then back on at 17:00 till 22:30. When the generators are turned off, a backup battery will supply all rooms (limited) power for lights, table fan and USB-charger only Special requests of prolonged electricity through Generator service will be granted at an additional cost for $ 20 per Hour
Security
We have one armed Ranger from Tanapa stationed at Mbalageti Serengeti and a Security team on duty 24hrs a day. Our friendly Security escort the guests to and from their rooms.
Facilities for Physically Challenged Guests
All washroom facilities in the public areas are accessible to physically challenged guests. One Tented Chalet has been prepared with adjustments. Ask for Nr 14 for your elderly or physically challenged guests and we will make sure that they will have a comfortable stay with us!
Payment
Our guests may settle payment with cash or Visa/Master credit card (surcharge 3%).
Transfers and Game Drives – Additional Charges will be applicable on Availability.
We offer transfers to and from Grumeti airstrip (40min) and Seronera Airstrip (1.5hours approx.) as well as Game drives on availability of the Vehicle.
Note: We subcontract the Vehicle and will require 48 hours’ prior confirmation to arrange transfer or Game Drives Above is not included in the Room Rate, this will be charged extra.
